92 Points

Wednesday, December 28, 2022 - This old vine Shiraz needed extensive breathing for the nose and palate to open up. Initially there was muted fruit and spices. Once opened up, there are layers of exotic spices, toasted vanilla oak, blueberries and black plums with a touch of earthy gravel on the bouquet. Palate became expressive, smooth and polished. Almost full-bodied with good concentration and depth. Transition from the palate to the flavourful finish is seamless and very long. A few more years of aging would be even better. 92-94 pts.
