Friday, April 10, 2020 - A bit perplexing to me. Fruit bomb of sweet cherry and even some heat on the nose. Medium bright red and no bricking on the color. The mouthful is lots of bright fruit that falls off quite abruptly to dry tannins and acidic tartness. Almost like what I would have expected in a new world pinot aged with decent acidity? It’s very good but not very Burgundian to me.
