Friday, May 13, 2022 - Friday night Burgs (The Bristol, Chicago IL): The nose is lifted and quite pretty with dark red cherries, raspberries, vosne spices, herbs, earth notes, and a touch of licorice. There is still a very primary nature to the nose that is expected from an 05. The Medium bodied feel is demure and elegant with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, yet youthful, medium+ tannins. There is still plenty of room for this to grow and it is on a very slow aging pace. It's not just promise though as there is a real lovely perfume to it while showing off good depth.
