Youthful purple color without bricking. Reticent aromas with some VA and acetones that were initially detracting. These subsided gradually over time. The wines were better in standard Riedel bordeaux/Zalto Universal glasses than the Zalto bordeaux - due to VA/acetones.

Palate showed youthful savory purple fruit with lots of umami character. Not similar to the Rocks, and more akin to my limited experience with some N Rhones (Rostaing, Guigal, Gonon), the medium viscosity flavor profile was thick with character and herbs. Finished long with mild VA and acetone.

Great bottle of wine, albeit marred by some volatiles. Contrasting to other taster's notes, our consensus was that this bottle could've gone 3-5 more years easily.
