However, after about an hour of air, it woke up, finally showing earthy Cabernet flavors of cassis and black cherry, with a hint of green pepper. Tannins emerged on the back, and became quite prominent on the last half of the second glass. A lot of sediment in the bottom, so pour carefully or strain.
