Saturday, August 24, 2019 - It took a couple hours to open up, then it was a nice wine with some elegance.
It is still dark purple with no brown edges. Nose is subdued red fruit and mineral.

Palette presents ample red fruit mixed with herb and olive in this medium bodied wine. Pretty red cherries, red raspberry, and red currant along earthy notes linger on the medium long finish.

Definitely in the prime drinking window, it should hold well for a few more years as I tasted nothing that suggests a quick downfall.
