90 Points

Monday, January 11, 2010 - We tried this when it was released, liked it and bought a case. This is the first bottle to be opened since. Served at 63 degrees without decanting. Dark red color. Great nose of cherries, earth and oak. It is a generous mouthful of cherry with a little tannic grip in the finish. Great plush fruit but not overly complex. Tannins may settle and the oak integrate a bit more but all things considered I see no great upside to waiting to drink this one up.
