Sunday, June 13, 2010 - Consistent with previous TN although this bottle showed even better. Glorious nose of cassis with creosote and a little earthiness. Medium plus body with lots of ripe, red/black fruit which builds on the palate. This showed a little more depth and was less fruit forward than the last bottle i had. Fairly long finish with integrated tannins. Drinking very well right now but looks like it will develop further over the next few years. This showing puts it on a par with the '03 Rattlesnake Ridge bottling. An outstanding wine which appears to be heading in the right direction.
