Sunday, April 4, 2021 - Drank this with Easter dinner, some garlic and herb crusted roast leg of lamb. Even after an hour plus decant, I found this unapproachable. It was almost bitter the tannins were so forward. It finally started to come around about 2 hours later as I was finishing the bottle. I think there are some good things here, but it needs time to integrate and soften up. I plan on giving this at least 3 more years before trying my other bottle.
The 90 is a walk between what I think the wine can be and where it is today (rating today I would say 88) - I would guess it finishes somewhere in the 92 range.
