Thursday, September 29, 2022 - Wow. The first sip was electric, full of mouth puckering acidity and fruit flavour. Tasted again after a 2-hour decant. Nectarine, lime, slight hint of butter, beeswax, very moderated use of oak, very long finish. This had fantastic balance between fruit and oak as observed by an earlier TN. Still very young, but not shy. So much energy, this will be pushing 94+ in another 10 years once it has had time for all these wonderful components to come together.

2018 is indeed the defining vintage for Margaret River.
