Tuesday, March 21, 2023 - Bright red, and surprisingly (and almost worryingly) thin appearance. Nose is alluring, and palate improves with time. Ripe berries dominate, with a dry, complex mid palate. Medium body and medium to long finish. Give it a long decant - continued to improve until the bottle was gone. Has years left, easily, no sediment - but smooth and integrated drinking as it is. Not a standout Basket Press vintage, but that’s a high bar - this is still an excellent wine. 95 and room to move
