2018 Acacia Chardonnay Carneros

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

85 Points

Monday, February 7, 2022 - Floral notes of acacia and verbena. Butter and peach on the nose and palate. Finishes with an odd mild bitterness which lingers. Overall it seems a bit muted, perhaps from being in the cellar for too long. I give it an 83, my wife gives it an 87, so an 85.

The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like peach, verbena and acacia. It tastes like peach. The body is light. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
