Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - Dark red with purple highlights, showing rich and nearly jammy aromas of blackberries, and cassis, backed with smoked herbs, and a little mint. Soft and round on the palate with slightly dry tannins and a finish possessing some depth and a lasting, almost overwhelming vanilla impression from the heavy oak.
