Sunday, October 3, 2010 - After an hour in decanter this wine showed a dark shroud of rich black currant jam with vanillin oak, gram cracker crust and a bit of detectable heat. On the palate, this wine showcased a velvety full body with dark black fruits, allspice and molasses which led to a slightly bitter finish that stayed fresh on the palate for an easy minute with blackberry fruit.
