Friday, July 20, 2012 - Tried this wine at the winery the year of its release and would have rated it an 88 based on tannins and lack of complexity. So we waited...and after cellaring for another 5 years had it with lamb and steak. It was truly one of the best wines I've ever had. Just amazing--dark fruit flavors, spices and rich dark chocolate.
