Saturday, April 10, 2010 - {ST} Color is a couple shades darker than the usual yellow, medium-plus body. Nose had a frontal note of sulfur that was somehow not unpleasant, and then in the background pineapple, lemon, vanilla, light spice, and perhaps a little hay. Fairly intense forward tropical flavors are broad on the palate, along with some vanilla and caramel, and a moderate finish of toast. Medium acid. Overall, straightforward tropical chard flavors that are not overblown, but also not remarkable so I don't fully get the the RP score and hype. Drinks at its price point of 18.
