Saturday, November 22, 2014 - what can I say. For an entry level wine this is sensational. I always loved keyneton estate and this in no doubt confirms it. Lovely ruby colour. Perfumes of mint, cinnamon overplayed with that aged notes of earth and dark stewed fruits. More of the same on the palate with well integrated tannins and a silliness that feels the mouth. Was quite closed at the beginning especially on the plate but then all of the above just started coming through. Long finish.
