Wednesday, April 19, 2023 - Medium, nearly deep red. Perhaps a little more traditional Châteauneuf here, this bottle lacking some of the freshness and energy found in one opened in October. The nose offers aromas of mostly stewed and dried red fruits, alongside notes of date molasses, five spice powder, lilacs, lavender and thyme. Full bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, there's an element of freshness driven by the acidity but the fruit is still very dried and stewed. I don't know.
