Saturday, January 22, 2022 - I like this as an everyday drinking wine. It needs time to open up, decant for 1/2 hour minimum. The tannins are strong when first tasting, then they balance out. It has a deep black fruit on the nose, currants, blackberries, dark cherries. Once it opens it is pretty full bodied, with a spice finish on the back of the tongue. The finish is long for a new wine. It can be stored for quite some time, five to ten years from now it may be very interesting. It will stand up to red meats or pork well. I am holding some.
