Thursday, November 7, 2019 - Domaine Visit-Bruno Clavelier's 2018 Vintage (Vosne-Romanée, France): Barrel sample. Deep purple core. Powerful earthy scents with ripe fruit in the background. Medium weight and finesseful for Nuits. Tart red fruit, citrus, tingling acidity, and a long soil finish. This wine really dances as it progresses across the palate. Then the tannins assert themselves, reaching every inch of your mouth. Exciting quality, needs a good 8 to 10 years.
