Wednesday, October 25, 2017 - We could have over-decanted this wine. 2 hours was probably too long. The wine dropped in the middle of the dinner. This bottle was on and off throughout the night with quite a muted nose. It is soft and silky with mint and dark/red fruit. The tannins have softened. There are moments where the wine shines. But overall its not the most consistent performer. There are other tasters who like it more than I do tonight.
