Thursday, August 14, 2014 - Although slightly outclassed by the '83 in the same flight in my opinion, this was a very good showing by the '86. Red plum complemented by various dirty flavors of the coal dust and dark earth variety. Wonderful balance of fruit, tannin and acid. All point to further development, this wine will clearly improve further with time.
