Wednesday, December 8, 2010 - Made from a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec, 9% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot this wine shows a bright purple colour. I found jammy berry fruit and toasty oak aromas on the nose. The palate started out a little austere, but mellowed in the glass. Medium to full in body I found savoury, earthy, menthol characters with nice French oak and a very dry finish.
