Wednesday, January 24, 2024 - Absolutely stunning wine. Incredible mouthfeel, velvety and mouthcoating plush tannins. Black cherry, ripe plum, prune, black cherry pipe tobacco and licorice. Three levels deep with a one-minute finish. From 2012-2016 Gargiulo 575 OVX and G Major 7 offering were about as good as Napa produced.

3/28/2024 2:34:00 AM - In my opinion, with a one hour decant, the '15 and '16 OVX's are ready now. The '12 is absolutely in a good place (greatest Garguilo ever made IMHO), the '13 is still a little tight, the '14 is more than ready, the '17 is getting there, the '18 is super tight.
