Saturday, January 27, 2024 - A orgotten bottle but what a surprise. Upon opening took a sip and the wine was still quite tannic but not dead as I feared. Still a nice brillant deep red color with slight opening on the rim. A nose of dark cherries and some evolution but fresh. After an hour the wine opened and the tannins further flattened and this continued further over time. Although not deep in taste it went strong and paired fantastic with a boar ragout.
