This is very nice wine... once it opens up... and it didn't do that the first night. In fact, I threw the whole decanter in the fridge and tasted the second night, and it was still tannic and closed. This does show a lot of promise, however with notes of blueberry, plum, coffee (espresso), cola and a hint of menthol. Yeah, there's a lot going on here. Its tough to get past the tannins on the palate, but the plum and blueberry really shine. The tannins are harsh... so this needs to sit. So give it a few years to come around, and I don't think it'll have a hard time living up to the WS score. Outstanding
