Friday, July 3, 2009 - Decanted two hours. The nose is still somewhat muted. The flavors of anise, herb, cocoa, wild berry and currant. The finish and tannin structure are impressive with well integrated tannins. The fruit has great concentration. Like Cliff Lede and Chimney Rock this is always a great QPR. This is the best I have tasted from Chappellet.
