Friday, April 16, 2010 - Definitely requires at minimum 1 hour to breath or decant. Typical Napa Cab with big fruit, vanilla and oak on the nose. Dark fruit, strawberries, currant, black liquorice, chocolate and tobacco on the nose. Big supple legs, dark purple color. Medium mouth feel with some bell pepper initially than integrated tannins and spice. Long lingering spicy finish on the tip of the tongue. Unfortunately there is somewhat of a flat finish and loss of fruit. Still a very nice wine.
