Monday, December 24, 2012 - Christmas Eve with lamb chops. Tasted immediately after decanting. Cherry, oak and restrained. It opened up a bit more after about an hour but was still lean compared to our last bottle. That made it work well with the lamb chops. The bottle variation on this wine, albeit based on a small sample size, has been striking.
