Friday, April 12, 2024 - Just showing some bricking but otherwise still retaining good color. Surprisingly still quite tannin for an almost 20 yr old wine. Becoming more claret like, with pencil lead, baked cherries, and leather. A bit of heat on the finish, not surprising given the 15% ABV, but carries it very well. Overall, this has matured into a nice Douro red. 91/100
