Saturday, August 8, 2020 - Unadorned Cabernet (no oak) that has more ripe blackberry fruit than a typical Cabernet of the south of France, where a green herby flavor often dominates. A nice weeknight fresh red with good weight and color rather than an evolved Cabernet. Clean acid balance, modest and resoled tannins, juicy but dry finish. It will hold/age for a year or two, but no point in deliberately aging it.
