Wednesday, May 3, 2006 - Angelo Gaja at ABS-SP (ABS-SP): 100% nebbiolo from 14 vineyards around the village of Barbaresco, Cuneo province. Muted nose at first and didn´t change much throughout the tasting. This wine is not made to be drank apart from food. The hard young tannins and crisp acidity demand food and it is still way too young. Has a long live ahead but already shows much finess and elegance.
