Friday, February 26, 2021 - Light ruby in color. Cherry, unripe strawberry, red currant, savory herbs on the nose. Dry, rustic medium plus grip, medium plus acid. A bit of mint and sage on the palate, with orange peel bitterness, like blood orange. There's some minerality to this as well. Reminds me of Valle d'Aosta. Good length on the crisp and dusty finish. Give this some time and the tannins should polish nicely. Great value for what's in this bottle.
