Saturday, June 27, 2009 - Burgers on a saturday night (Shane's abode): nose: this changed a lot over the evening, and at every twist and turn it provided intrigue. It initially gave off lovely and perfumed tones of dark red cherries, mineral rich earth tones, loads of various spices, some bits of chalk, dark berries, and hints of dark florals. taste: very vibrant with plush tones of dark cherries, spices, dark berries, rich earthy tones, and some bits of roasted meats started to show later on too. Very round and so polished on the palate with excellent medium+ acidity that presents itself well and should allow for some further aging

overall: a wonderful moving target. Lots of interesting twists and turns that really keep your attention going and keep you on your feet. There is little to no browning or bricking at the rim and the acidity is very vibrant right now. Extremely enjoyable at the moment, and can certainly go a further 5-8 years
