Sunday, October 22, 2023 - I was hoping for a little more from this bottle. I love the rich fruit from the regular Merlot, but the oak in this one was a little overwhelming. It did mellow out with air time but was still too strong for my taste after 90 minutes of it being decanted. It is more refined and structured than the regular one but that oak is just a little too much.
