Tuesday, August 8, 2023 - Opened in Hong Kong with friends. Slow oxed for multiple hours before drinking, and enjoyed as the last bottle of the night.

This was a huge wine, and definitely needs more time. Thankfully we had this quite late in the day, because it really needed the air to even start unfurling a little bit of its fruit, which was a lovely showcase of red (strawberries). However the palate was dark, monolithic and brooding - it's just not ready yet.

Give this at least another 5+ years, and then revisit. I'd hold until then - definitely upside potential as this loosens up.
