Saturday, March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Walk around tasting. This trio of 2018s are all dense, powerful, and backward. This wine is the most concentrated with the most dry extract, but also really brooding now. This again seems like old school Faiveley in terms of structure, but much cleaner than those wines of a bygone era. Don't even think of opening for a couple of decades, 2038 forward.
