Saturday, February 28, 2009 - Scents of leather, wood, and tobacco. Very dry and earthy. Not very fruity, but the wine had hints of tart cherries and spice. After a while, there were hints of port, as well. Medium to heavy tannins. The wine will probably be better in a few years.
