Friday, January 8, 2021 - I had forgotten how good, and good value the wines from Saint Mont can be. This is a level above the basic co-op wine, and has a bit more complexity and texture about it, particularly if it's allowed to warm up a little. Much more to it than a basic SB or Ugni Blanc, with several different notes evolving. Some citrus peel on the nose, melon and honey too and the honeyed notes following on the palate though a dry and quite long finish. Excellent food wine too.
