Saturday, October 1, 2011 - Popped and poured. Perfect cork, excellent fill. Cellared since release. Medium light ruby with slight browning at the edges. Modest nose with oak, some herbaceousness, and a touch of mint. On the palate smooth and soft with no remaining tannins to revolve, moderate depth, and a nice but not particularly long finish. On this first impression I would say these need to be drunk in the next few years. Nice wine but lacks acidity and complexity.
