    4/11/2022 10:54:00 AM - 6 minimum IMO to 8 years from vintage date for HP. 2012 HP at 8 years was possibly my best CA Pn experience. Faded some but still beautiful at 9. Should have consumed both, really singing, at 8. HP has become more graceful through the years.

    4/11/2022 5:32:00 PM - Have a bunch of Dehlinger, easily my biggest Pinot holding (though trying for better balance now). Have had HP through the years, never found a problem drinking them younger as with this one. This was my first of 6, so I can sit on them for another year or two. Alas, perhaps my palate for the evening. Dehlinger is, if nothing else, consistent in its quality.
