Wednesday, January 19, 2022 - On a whim, decided to give it a try. Totally unexpected - this wine is wide open and very tasty. Best at 56-58F. Promising aromatic nose of plums and raspberries. Dark cherries and raspberries on the palate. Nice balance at near-cellar temperatures. As it gets warmer in the glass, it becomes heavier and the acid balance diminishes. Overall - very impressed. No hint of heat. Not sure how it would age (and if there any point in aging this perfectly quaffable wine).
