Friday, February 4, 2022 - CNY drinks (Casa Esperanza): Lovely, and starting to develop nicely. The nose was very attractive, with wafts of sweet cream and brioche, sweet apples and lemon curd, chalk and flint, all laced with a little white floral touch. Very Meursault. Very Perrieres. With time, some sweeter tropical notes came out at the sides too. The palate was still youthful, but already absolutely delicious, showing a wonderful clarity to its notes of white fruit, red apples and little tropical pineapple notes, all these lined with lovely reams of juicy lemony acidity and stony mineral as the wine stretched away into a beautifully long finish.
