Thursday, August 18, 2022 - Previous notes are right on. Cork broke apart and soft, even though no sign of seepage. Nose has a blend of slight vanilla, cherry and French oak. Slightly more body than most left bank Bordeaux; this is definitely Red Mountain minerality and dark cherry. Nice complexity in the blending, with the finish imparting a strong dose to Red Mtn soil. Quite nice.
