Sunday, February 20, 2022 - Opaque, deep red colour with red brim. Nose is rich, enticing, complex, fruity and peppery, with notes of bramble, raspberries, white pepper, charcuteries, juniper wood and a touch of vanilla, licorice and black olives. Mouthfeel is plush, generous, full bodied, packed with young peppery fruit, with smooth tannins, nice acidity and notes of bramble, white pepper, juniper wood, smoked meat and just a touch of vanilla.

This is obviously still very young, but has tons of potential. An outstanding Saint-Joseph that will easily compete with many Côte-Rôtie.
