Friday, January 7, 2022 - Deep ruby color. Medium intensity aromas of dark cherry, black tea leaf, cassis and anise with developing characteristics. Medium acidity and dry on the palate with medium [+] intensity flavors of same with additional cedar and black pepper notes, medium tannins, high alcohol (15.4 ABV not unusual for central coast) with a medium finish. Altogether very good and pleasant wine for meat courses, fire 🔥 pits or a nightcap. Can drink now has potential for further aging.
