Monday, June 30, 2014 - Unscrewed (the first screwcap vintage?) and immediately poured but nurtured in the glass over a couple of hours. Lovely rich opaque velvety red colour. Opulent and velvety nose that draws you in and makes you contemplative. Palate is lovely rich red fruits and velvety texture....definitely open for business but with at least a decade to mature and improve. This was a slightly frivolously opened last bottle of a not crazy evening but where I didn't take notes. Note to self: must definitely revisit and pay more attention.
