Monday, July 11, 2016 - WineFest in Toronto (Mike Grammer); 7/10/2016-7/12/2016 (Mike Grammer's (parents home) in Toronto): What a treat to try this at this age. I really do like aged Sauternes although they are clearly a different wine than in their youth. The nose has caramel with some burnt oranges. On the palate, this is sugary and caramel with some citrus. There is enough acidity to make this lively though. There is also a depth, not layered, but depth that is a nice complexity.
