Tuesday, January 12, 2021 - Some roasted meat and savory notes on the nose mixed with a little bit of riper red fruit. On the palate there’s a cranberry/tart cherry sensation with a light punch of astringency. This wine is tighter and a bit more closed than I expected but not overall unpleasant. I believe it will open up a bit maybe with a decant but to be fair at the $20 price point I generally look for more up front drinkability. Not a bad wine for sure but not an amazing performer QPR wise 😜
