Wednesday, January 4, 2023 - Fully mature California Cabernet. Good, but not great. Maybe it would have better younger. The wine has wonderful aromas of violates and black fruit. It tastes of cassis, blackberries, black cherries, graphite, and mocha. Medium to full bodied and rich. This cab has all the right pieces, but it’s not in harmony. It’s lacking in complexity, cohesiveness, and balance. I enjoyed this bottle less than my prior one, only a few months ago. I recommend to drink up now.
